Her career began when she was an teen and is most well famous for her character of Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and also as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and car salesman.
